History

Cypress Machine Shop, Inc. was founded in early 2011 by President James M. Wilder and Vice President Justin L. Guidry. Cypress Machine originated in New Iberia, Louisiana with one CNC Turning Center being operated in a building with a total of 1,200 square feet of shop space. From the beginning, Cypress Machine had a strong commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. Cypress Machine initially produced machined components for small local companies and started attracted larger clients in the oil and gas sector not long after. As the business and revenue grew over the following months, Cypress Machine purchased two additional CNC machining centers and started to hire additional employees to meet the needs of the growing business. Understanding the requirements of a technologically advanced market, Cypress Machine began to recruit employees with diversified skill sets, in addition to experienced machining backgrounds. In January of 2012, the company was relocated to its current 6,300 square foot manufacturing facility in Broussard, Louisiana after outgrowing the smaller building where it all started. From one CNC Lathe, Cypress Machine has currently grown to ten state of the art machining centers with milling and turning capabilities and has fourteen highly skilled employees with over 75 years of combined machining experience. Besides our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction, the success of Cypress Machine has largely been made possible by the dedication and personability of the employees on our team. We take great pride in the development and personal growth of our employees and the continual improvement of our company as a whole. At Cypress Machine Shop, Inc. we stand by our commitment to providing on time delivery of high quality machined components with friendly and reliable customer service.
